Accreditation
Accreditation Commission
Focus: Develop strategies to increase awareness and relevance of the Accreditation program.
Eligibility: Accredited Natural Stone Institute member.
CEU Education
CEU Education Committee
Focus: Create and maintain relevant CEU courses for architects and designers.
Eligibility: Enrollment in Natural Stone Institute’s CEU Program. Natural Stone Institute member.
Global Member Advocacy
Steering Committee
Focus: Development of strategies, tools, and resources for the Global Advocacy Group.
Eligibility: Natural Stone Institute member. Two-year term.
Natural Stone Institute
Board of Directors
Focus: Develop strategies to shape the future of the natural stone industry.
Eligibility: Official company representative from the “Active Member” category, which is a company that is actively engaged in one or more of the following: quarrying/producing, manufacturing, finishing, fabricating, installing, exporting, importing, brokering, maintaining, and/or restoring natural stone. Must be designated or the official company representative if elected. Four-year term.
North American Quarry Advocacy
Steering Committee
Focus: Development of strategies, tools, and resources for the North American Quarry Advocacy Group.
Eligibility: Natural Stone Institute member. Two-year term.
Safety
Safety Committee
Focus: Oversee the creation of safety resources for the natural stone industry.
Eligibility: $2500 sponsorship per year. Natural Stone Institute member.
Sustainability
Steering Committee
Focus: Develop strategies to position natural stone as a preferred material to satisfy green building goals.
Eligibility: Natural Stone Institute member.
Work Groups
Focus: Support goals and priorities of Sustainability Steering Committee.
Eligibility: Natural Stone Institute member.

Steering Committee
Focus: Recruit, retain, and advance women in the natural stone industry.
Eligibility: One year of active service on a subcommittee or as a mentor in Mentorship Program. Natural Stone Institute member. Two-year term.
Subcommittees: Events, Mentorship, Special Projects, Communications
Focus: Support goals and priorities established by Women in Stone Steering Committee.
Eligibility: Women in Stone participant.
