The Natural Stone Institute is pleased to announce that beginning with the 2025 Call for Entries, the Tucker Design Awards will be partnered with the Pinnacle Awards program.

At Marmomac 2024 in Verona, Italy, the Natural Stone Strategic Alliance (NSSA) convened natural stone trade associations from around the world to advance sustainability initiatives.

Frank Hermans, Milbank #3 Supervisor for Coldspring, is the inaugural recipient of the Thor Lundh Quarrier Award. Hermans was celebrated during the Tucker Design Awards ceremony at the NSI Study Tour in Salt Lake City on August 26.

157 attendees from 48 member companies and 5 architectural firms attended the annual NSI Study Tour, which took place in Salt Lake City August 25-28, with an optional extension to Idaho on August 29.

The 2024 Tucker Design Awards were presented at a ceremony in Salt Lake City on August 26, 2024, during the Natural Stone Institute Study Tour. Eight projects and their design teams were celebrated.

The Natural Stone Institute and the International Surface Fabricators Association are proud to introduce two guidance documents for workplace silica exposure assessment assembled by the Yale School of Medicine.

The Natural Stone Institute board of directors has appointed Reid Kubesh (Coldspring) to fill a vacancy left by Alexandra Niedbalski, who resigned her position after leaving the industry. Kubesh will serve a four-year term from 2024-2027.
