The Natural Stone Institute has provided natural stone and fabrication services for its 46th home with the Gary Sinise Foundation through its R.I.S.E. (Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment) program.

The Natural Stone Institute is proud to again serve as a supporting association for Middle East Stone, which will take place December 5-8 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The Natural Stone Institute will welcome two individuals to its board of directors in January 2023.

The Natural Stone Institute has provided natural stone and fabrication services for its 45th home with the Gary Sinise Foundation through its R.I.S.E. (Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment) program.

The Natural Stone Institute has published industry-wide ISO Type III environmental declarations, also called environmental product declarations (EPDs), for three applications of natural dimension stone: Cladding, Flooring/Paving, and Countertops. Also published are 13 Health Product Declarations (HPDs) for natural stone found in 15 MasterFormat® classifications.

Three companies have joined the Leadership Society of the Natural Stone Foundation at the Gold level, an honor given to companies and individuals who have donated between $20,000-$49,999 to the Foundation. We are pleased to welcome the following companies.

U.S. Stone Industries in Herington, KS has earned certification to the Natural Stone Sustainability Standard (ANSI/NSI 373). The company has achieved Silver status for their fabrication facility, which processes limestone from raw blocks of stone into usable building materials.
