2023 - Study Tour Monday Restaurant Options

The following restaurants are open on Monday nights and are just a quick walk across the bridge from the Hotel Colorado. In no particular order:

• The Pullman – “Imaginative Simple Food” – Delicious food & Great Cocktails

• CO Ranch House – “Western Inspired & Ranch Raised” – Gary & Dacia’s favorite Glenwood Eatery

• Slope & Hatch – “Not your regular taco shop” Creative Tacos and Hot Dogs

• Glenwood Canyon Brewpub – “Western Colorado’s Most Awarded Brewery” & American Pub Fare

• Rocky Mountain Pizza – “A Slice of the Good Life” – pizzeria & tap room focused on clean ingredients sourced from the Rocky Mountains

• Kedai – Pho & Japanese Cuisine – large menu and full bar, great reviews on Yelp

• Juicy Lucy’s Steakhouse – “Dining experience at Juicy Lucy’s is not just great, but memorable” Local products and fresh seafood –

  Fun fact: Dacia moved to GWS in 1994 to open a restaurant with family. They opened a place called Defiance Station (Glenwood Springs was originally called Defiance and the restaurant is located across from the AmTrac station).  The space was leased and needed extensive renovation and build out.  A great deal of the interior is still the same.  Dacia selected many of the interior finishes, wired the sconces on the walls and painted the funky pendant light fixtures copper (were silver) to go with the color palette.  The color palette was selected to mirror the colors found in Glenwood Canyon.

• Masala & Curry – “We combine simple and elegant spices from Nepal and India, resulting in dishes rich in flavor as well as culture” – casual and quaint dining

• Native Son Restaurant and Bar – “tapa-style cuisine crafted from locally sourced meats and vegetables” – full bar and billiards

• The Italian Underground – “Classic Traditional Italian Plus Daily Specials Made from Scratch”- a long time Glenwood Staple
